US Polo Association

Overview

After acquiring a polo club in Wellington, Florida, the United States Polo Association (USPA) set out to establish the National Polo Center as a premier destination for polo in the U.S. To support that vision, they needed a new website that could introduce the venue, promote tournaments and amenities, and engage polo fans with a polished, brand-aligned digital experience.

The Challenge

Because Sunnybyte already served as the website partner for uspolo.org, USPA entrusted us to develop the National Polo Center website within the same Craft multisite environment. The site needed to reflect the new NPC branding while staying aligned with the broader USPA digital ecosystem. It also needed to launch on a tight timeline, even as the branding work was still being finalized.
At the same time, the project required a smart content-sharing strategy. Tournament schedules, news, and events already lived on uspolo.org, so the new site needed a way to selectively surface relevant NPC content without forcing the client to recreate it manually.

Our Approach

To keep the project moving, we took an accelerated UX-first approach. Rather than waiting for final UI designs, we moved directly from wireframes into CMS architecture and development, building the site’s components and templates early so that the visual design could be layered in as brand assets became available. This reduced the time to launch and gave the project flexibility without sacrificing quality.
We also designed the site architecture to work seamlessly inside the Craft multisite environment alongside uspolo.org. Using categories and tags, we created a clean way for the content team to control which tournaments, news items, and events should appear on the NPC site, eliminating duplicate content entry while improving efficiency and accuracy.

Key Features

Accelerated CMS-First Build Process

By translating wireframes into structured CMS components early, we were able to move development forward before the final brand design package was complete, helping the project meet its launch goals.
Selective Shared Content Management

Selective Shared Content Management

We implemented a content model that allowed administrators to decide where tournament schedules, news, and events should appear using simple selectors, reducing manual work and avoiding duplicate content creation.
Ticketsauce API Integration

Ticketsauce API Integration

To simplify ticket sales and reduce manual updates, we integrated the site with Ticketsauce so the latest event ticket information could be pulled in automatically. The integration supported multiple ticket types and preserved the site’s visual consistency.

Craft Multisite Integration

The National Polo Center site was built as part of a shared Craft multisite architecture with uspolo.org, allowing for consistent brand alignment and more efficient content administration across both properties.

Outcome

The finished website gave the National Polo Center a strong digital launchpad and a polished online presence aligned with both the new NPC identity and the broader USPA brand. It streamlined content management, improved the accuracy and efficiency of event publishing, and created a more seamless way for users to explore tournaments, events, and ticket options
Just as importantly, the project demonstrated Sunnybyte’s ability to solve for speed, multisite complexity, and evolving brand requirements — all within a cohesive Craft CMS implementation.
